BTS Member Jin's Grandmother Passes Away

BTS’s Jin’s grandmother has passed away.

On June 10, BTS’s agency Big Hit Entertainment revealed, “After the pre-recording for SBS ‘Inkigayo’ today, BTS’s Jin quickly left after receiving the news that his maternal grandmother has passed away.”

As a result, Jin was not present during the ending stage for the program as BTS took home a triple crown for “Inkigayo.”

The agency continued in the statement, “We express our apologies to fans as he was unable to complete the broadcast,” and concluded, “Rest in peace.”

We offer our sincere condolences to Jin and his family.
