“Let’s Eat 3” Shares Reasons To Anticipate The Drama Ahead Of Its Premiere
With the premiere date approaching, tvN’s “Let’s Eat 3” revealed simple yet persuasive reasons to look forward to the upcoming drama.
In this third installment of the popular “Let’s Eat” series, Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon plays Goo Dae Young, the food-lover who has fallen into a slump in his 30s. In order to heal his wounds, he embarks on a journey to revisit the food that he loved in his 20s with former college classmate Lee Ji Woo (played by Baek Jin Hee).
The first series that started in 2013 reflected the trend of “single-person household” and “mukbang” (social eating) and filled the cold hearts of viewers in the middle of winter by remembering the meaning of dining together.
The second series in 2015 was a simple and pleasant story about single people who lived in a villa together. It reflected spring by showing global cuisine from places like Thailand and India as well as camping and market foods.
Now, the third series will start airing just in time for summer cuisine. This time, the drama will take on ambitious strategies to bring back the appetite that was lost due to the hot weather. The viewers can look forward to seeing the representative foods of the summer season as well as the fresh and brilliant energy of youth.
Above all, people are wondering how the concepts of single-person households and social eating as well as the new chemistry between Yoon Doo Joon and Baek Jin He will play out in the drama.
“Let’s Eat 3” will air on June 16 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
