SHINee To Perform "I Want You" For 1st Time On "Weekly Idol"

SHINee will be performing their new title track for the very first time on the next episode of “Weekly Idol”!

On June 13, the variety show will air a special episode in honor of SHINee’s tenth anniversary, with the group members appearing as guests. The episode will feature SHINee’s first television performance of “I Want You” since its release on June 11. “I Want You” is the group’s second of three title tracks from their new full-length album “The Story of Light.”

According to those present during filming, the three hosts of “Weekly Idol” were in awe of the group’s impressive performance of their new song. The hosts also reportedly prepared three gifts in celebration of SHINee’s tenth anniversary, with the group members taking on the show’s legendary “random play dance” and “roller coaster dance” challenges in order to win the gifts.

SHINee’s special episode of “Weekly Idol” will air on June 13 at 6 p.m. KST.
