SHINee's Key And Onew Share How Living Apart Has Brought Them Closer Together

SHINee’s Onew and Key appeared on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope” on June 13 to talk about SHINee’s most recent comeback with “I Want You.”

Onew currently lives in the dorms while Key has moved out and lives on his own. However, both of them agreed that they’ve actually grown closer together since they stopped living together.

Key explained, “When you live together, there can be times when even the small, normal things put you on edge. Like, there were times when even seeing someone walking around would annoy me. I realized, ‘The others probably feel that away about me too sometimes, and decided to move out. I think that actually brought us closer together.”

Onew had everyone laughing when he added, “There have been times when I would change how I ate for the others. Key really doesn’t like chewing noises, so I used to melt the food in my mouth.” Key said, “Ever since I was young, I’ve always believed that everything I did was right. I think we all felt that way which is why we fought sometimes.”

He concluded with, “But living apart has taught us how precious we are to each other.”
