Former MMO Trainee Joo Jin Woo From “Produce 101 Season 2” Signs With Actor Agency
Joo Jin Woo from “Produce 101 Season 2” has signed with a new agency!
It was announced on June 14 that the former MMO Entertainment trainee has signed with Finecut Entertainment.
Joo Jin Woo commented, “I have shown myself as a singer momentarily as I enjoy music. However, what I ultimately want is to become an actor with my own charms. I want to be an actor who can absorb a variety of roles and leave a lasting impression.”
He shared on his decision to join the agency, “Finecut is a company that is diverse in the film business and has had expertise for a long time. More than anything, I was drawn because the company houses various young actors who have depth in their acting skills. I will think seriously about my activities as an actor and show new sides of myself.”
Finecut is a film company that has specialized in production, financing, international distribution, and marketing of films since 2008. It boasts a strong film lineup of over 100 movies including “The Wailing,” “Burning,” and “Old Boy.” The company houses a scriptwriter agency with 25 writers and an actor agency, which now has five actors.
On why they chose Joo Jin Woo as the fifth actor following Seo Young Joo, Jeong Ha Dam, Cho Dong In, and Han Jai, Finecut Entertainment revealed, “A natural way of life can be felt in Joo Jin Woo with both music and acting. We saw his potential as an actor with his relaxed and soft but intense gaze, and he absorbs his experiences strongly and quickly. As Finecut’s other four actors each have unique individuality and acting skills, we felt confident that Joo Jin Woo will become a Finecut actor with a different personality, as well.”
Born in 1993, Joo Jin Woo competed on “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017 and completed the program at No. 41.
