Jang Yoon Jung's Mother Arrested For Fraud

Jang Yoon Jung’s mother Yook Heung Bok has been arrested for fraud.

Allegedly, Yook borrowed money from her acquaintance (hereafter referred to as “A”) several times from the period of 2015 to 2017 totaling 415 million won (approximately $382,700), but never returned the money.

Yook’s acquaintance A filed an official complaint of fraud at the end of last year. When the police were unable to locate Yook, they obtained an arrest warrant and apprehended her on June 12.

During questioning, Yook said, “I did borrow the money, but it’s not fraud,” denying the charges against her.

The arrest comes just one month after Jang Yoon Jung’s announcement that she is pregnant with her second child. The mother and daughter have a history of public animosity, and with the recent news, many are wishing Jang Yoon Jung peace of mind and a healthy pregnancy.
