BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" Becomes Fastest K-Pop Girl Group MV To Hit 10 Million Views
BLACKPINK’s new music video has already reached 10 million views!
The YG Entertainment girl group made a long-awaited comeback on June 15 at 6 p.m. KST with their new mini album “Square Up” and the music video for their title track “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”
By 12:15 a.m. KST on June 16, the MV had hit the 10 million view milestone. Since it reached the milestone in 6 hours and 15 minutes, it set a new record for the fastest time among K-pop girl group MVs.
The previous record for K-pop girl group MVs had been 17 hours, which was set by BLACKPINK’s “As If It Was Your Last.” BTS’s “Fake Love” holds the record for the fastest time to 10 million views among all music videos, reaching the milestone in 4 hours and 56 minutes.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” is also reigning over realtime charts in Korea.
