SHINee's Minho Reveals The Most Memorable Thing TVXQ's Changmin Has Said To Him

SHINee’s Minho talked about his friendship with TVXQ’s Changmin on JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything.”

During the June 16 episode of the variety program, Minho brought up Super Junior member Kim Heechul‘s story about “SM’s Passionate Trio” made up of Minho, TVXQ’s Yunho, and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon.

Minho clarified, “People think that I’m close with TVXQ’s Yunho as we’re in the same ‘passion line,’ but I’m actually closer with Changmin. Changmin’s passion is also quite amazing. It’s a different kind of passion. There’s something that he said that sticks out in my mind.”

When cast members had a hard time guessing Changmin’s memorable line, Minho gave them a hint. “I’ll tell you the scenario,” he said. “He played a soccer game with me and I won. He said this in order to not show that he was angry for losing. He suddenly went to his room, turned off all of the lights, and laid down. I think that’s how angry he was.”

The answer was, “I don’t want to show you the ugly side of me.” Minho explained, “It’s a game that he always used to win. I teased him because I was happy that I won. But suddenly, he silently went to his room. I thought he’d come back after cooling off his anger, but he didn’t come back. I opened his door and the lights were turned off.”

He continued, “I said, ‘I’m sorry. I went too far,’ and he said, ‘I don’t want to show you the ugly side of me. Just go.’ So I closed the door and came out. I had never seen him like that. When I contacted him later, he said, ‘I’m sorry I showed you the emotional side of me,’ and after that, he quit playing that game.”
