BLACKPINK's Members Each Surpass 1.5 Million Followers On Instagram In Just One Day

Just one day after joining Instagram, all four members of BLACKPINK have already managed to gain more than 1.5 million followers!

On June 16, each of the four BLACKPINK members opened individual Instagram accounts just in time for their comeback with their new mini album “Square Up.” By the next day, Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa had each already surpassed 1.5 million followers—all with only one post on each of their accounts!

BLACKPINK’s new title track “DDU-DU DDU-DU” is also off to a spectacular start. In addition to achieving a certified all-kill on the Korean music charts shortly after its release on June 16, the music video for the song has been shattering records on YouTube. “DDU-DU DDU-DU” has already become the fastest K-pop girl group music video in history to reach 10 million, 20 million, 30 million, and 40 million views on YouTube, and it also set a new record for the most views recorded by any K-pop girl group within 24 hours of a music video’s release.
