Nilo's Agency Releases Statement After Cancellation Of His Concert With Penomeco And Babylon
Nilo’s agency has released a statement announcing the cancellation of his Busan concert.
On June 20, Melon Ticket halted all sales of tickets to the “FEEL SO GOOD LIVE CONCERT” in Busan. The event was set to be held by Nilo, Penomeco, and Babylon.
Nilo’s agency stated, “An unspecified number of people have been repeatedly using ‘No-Show’ tactics of reserving tickets and then cancelling them. This has hindered actual concertgoers from reserving tickets for the concert,” and “The concert production team contacted us and informed us that the concert was cancelled as they could not move forward under such conditions.”
Nilo’s “Pass,” which was released in October 2017, shot up to the top of the charts earlier this month, and the singer was embroiled in controversy over the song’s rapid success. His agency denied all accusations of chart manipulation but the Korea Management Federation (KMF) submitted a request to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to investigate the issue.
