Lee Ji Ah Confirmed For New Horror Drama With Choi Daniel And Park Eun Bin
KBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Ghost Detective” tells the story of detective Lee Da Il, who chases after ghosts, and his energetic assistant Jung Yeo Wool. The two are dragged into a bizarre case as they encounter a mysterious woman called Sun Woo Hye. Choi Daniel takes on the role of Lee Da Il while Park Eun Bin plays Jung Yeo Wool.
The production staff of “The Ghost Detective” shared, “We cast Lee Ji Ah for the role of Sun Woo Hye. Sun Woo Hye is a character who draws Lee Da Il and Jung Yeo Wool into a mysterious case. She’s the one who has the key to solving the case.”
Sun Woo Hye appears in every scene that Lee Da Il and Jung Yeo Wool visit to investigate, adding tension to the drama. Her trademark is a red dress, and just a silhouette of her dress will be enough to make viewers get chills as the story progresses.
This is the first time Lee Ji Ah is participating in a horror thriller. Lee Ji Ah shared, “I’m glad to take part in several works in a row and I’m very excited to try a drama and a role of a new genre. I’ll try to deliver a good acting performance in this drama that many people can enjoy. I’ll do my best to create a well-made drama that will be talked about throughout this summer.”
The production staff added, “Lee Ji Ah is an actress with a unique mood that piques your curiosity. We cast her because we thought that the curiosity about the character Sun Woo Hye in the drama could be even more intensified by the actress Lee Ji Ah. We’re looking forward to Lee Ji Ah’s intense charms coming together with Sun Woo Hye to create an original, shocking character.”
“The Ghost Detective” is scheduled to premiere in August. Check out other dramas that you don’t want to miss this summer here!
