Lovelyz's Jin To Take Break Due to Health Issue + Group Announces Release Of Special Digital Single

Lovelyz’s Jin will be taking a break from promotions due to health concerns.

On June 21, Lovelyz’s agency Woollim Entertainment announced via their fan cafe that member Jin will not be able to take part in the group’s promotions for their upcoming special digital single because of a health problem.

The agency stated that while preparing for their promotions, Jin had felt unwell and gone to the hospital to receive a detailed examination and opinion on treatment. She is currently focusing on her recovery. The nature of her health concern was not described by the agency.

After discussing with Jin’s family and medical team, it was decided that she will be taking a temporary break from promotions.

Woollim Entertainment has also announced that Lovelyz will be starting promotions for their special digital single on the June 28 episode of “M!Countdown.” They will be promoting with seven members for the time being, with Jin planning to rejoin promotions with the group when she recovers.
