SBS’s “Law of the Jungle” enjoyed a rise in ratings as WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon took the moment with the highest real-time ratings.

The episode of “Law of the Jungle” that aired on June 22 rose 1.2 percent in ratings from the previous episode for an average of 12.9 percent and peaking at 15.2 percent. This made it the most-watched program in its time slot for all channels. MBC’s “Guys Who Cross the Line” (literal title) came in at 6.5 percent, JTBC’s “Begin Again 2” was at 4.4 percent, and tvN’s “Grandpas Over Flowers Special” came in at 3.4 percent.

On this day, Kangnam, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon, comedian Kim Joon Hyun, chef Choi Hyun Suk, actor Julien Kang, and actress Nam Bo Ra arrived in Mexico and were greeted by Kim Byung Man. The team quickly began setting up camp near a brook and unfortunately Kim Joon Hyun suffered from heatstroke.

The people who stood out were the youngest members of the team as they quickly adapted to their surroundings. Seulgi didn’t hold back in the physically-taxing activities to do her part, and she went out in search of marsh snails to eat. Lee Seung Hoon went searching for fruit, and when he and Choi Hyun Suk discovered mammee fruit, he expressed his delight as he tasted it. That moment recorded the highest real-time ratings for the show, peaking at 15.2 percent.

“Law of the Jungle” airs every Friday at 10 p.m. KST.
