Oh My Girl’s YooA Shares Personal Beauty And Stress Relief Tips For The Summer

Oh My Girl’s YooA recently posed for fashion magazine Cosmopolitan and talked about her favorite cosmetics and skincare products that make her beauty radiate even more.

During the photo shoot, YooA wore refreshing summer outfits with bold red lipstick that showed off her new side. She commented, “It is exciting to be on stage, but I think photo shoots are fun because they give me an opportunity to express and show my different sides.”

In the interview following the photo shoot, YooA revealed the secret to her soft, baby-like skin. She shared, “When I don’t have to perform or film, I don’t wear make-up at all. I just do [the basic] skincare and put sun cream on. I think letting your skin rest is one way of taking care of it.”

She also said, “My skin is on the thin side, so when there are no problems, it looks great, but if I don’t take care of it, I get pimples and red flushes easily. When I’m done with my schedule, I quickly remove my make-up and apply moisturizing cream which calms my skin down.”

When asked about her favorite style of lip make-up, YooA answered, “I like the full lip style where I densely apply [lip stick] from the inside to the outside of my lips. My lips are a bit full, so I don’t mind the texture of my lip makeup, but I prefer the soft, neat lips rather than the shiny, glossy style.”

YooA also revealed her favorite beauty product, saying, “I’m very curious, so I try various beauty products. The basic product I use is a mild hypoallergenic product called Organience Emulsion from Primera. The texture is light, so it is good to wear in this season. I like perfume as well. I usually spray on citrus or floral scent that is fresh and delicate.”

The idol talked about dealing with stress, saying, “Sometimes, you don’t want to eat junk food or bother with exercise when you’re stressed out. I used to be like that, too, but my stress didn’t decrease. I heard yoga is good for you when you’re stressed out, so I learned it, and it’s very compatible with me. Although it is a quiet exercise, it is healing to sweat and meditate quietly.
