Watch: Im Soo Hyang Catches The Attention Of ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo In Drama Teaser

The first teaser is here for JTBC’s upcoming drama “My ID is Gangnam Beauty” (literal title)!

“My ID is Gangnam Beauty” is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It will tell the story of Kang Mi Rae (played by Im Soo Hyang) who undergoes plastic surgery to live a new life after getting teased about her looks since she was young, and her story of growth as she experiences the first year of college.

The teaser starts with Do Kyung Suk (played by ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo) asking Kang Mi Rae, “Why’d you do it? Why’d you get [plastic surgery]?”

Kang Mi Rae introduces herself to the other students on campus and they react in surprise when she says that she’s 20 years old.

Unlike Kang Mi Rae who is shy and awkward, Hyun Soo Ah (played by Joo Woo Ri) is confident and naturally sociable. She approached others with so much ease that she’s suspected of either being super innocent or sly.

When Hyun Soo Ah spots the campus hottie Do Kyung Suk at the vending machine, she tells him, “I also like Sprite.” He, however, doesn’t even bother to look up from his phone. He replies, “Buy one and drink it,” but looks up when he hears a guy call Kang Mi Rae’s name in the hallway.

Remembering Kang Mi Rae from middle school, he asks, “It really isn’t you?”

“My ID is Gangnam Beauty” will premiere on July 27 at 11 p.m. KST on JTBC. Watch the teaser below!
