Eunhyuk And Sandara Park On Thinking They Couldn't Be Close Because They Were SM And YG

JTBC2’s new variety program “Borrow Trouble Season 2: Paradise,” featuring stars Park Jun Hyung, Sandara Park, DinDin, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, and NU’EST’s Jonghyun, aired its first episode on June 29.

During the show, DinDin asked if there was ever a lasting variety show with both YG and SM, seeing the rare sight of Eunhyuk and Sandara Park together.

Sandara Park said, “This is a first. And it’s my first time going on a vacation this long, too.” Eunhyuk added, “I thought there would be a sort of wall between us. It felt like we could never be friends,” and Sandara Park agreed. “Sometimes, I wondered if there would be a scandal if I said hi to [Eunhyuk].”

Eunhyuk said that it’s inevitable for YG to have that image. “Because YG does hip hop music, it feels like the artists will have really strong personalities and a lot of pride.”

“It’s true that [YG artists] can look like they’d be mean, but for me, I’m pretty shy at first. I clearly have an SM image,” said Sandara Park.

“Borrow Trouble” airs on Fridays at midnight KST.
