SEVENTEEN's Agency Releases Statement Regarding Vernon's Leg Injury And Participation In Ongoing Concerts

SEVENTEEN’s Vernon has suffered from a leg injury.

On June 30, Pledis Entertainment took to SEVENTEEN’s official Twitter account to release a statement regarding the injury. They began with, “During the ‘2018 SEVENTEEN Concert ‘Ideal Cut’ in Seoul’ performance on June 29, Vernon suffered a leg injury during the last stage. After a complete medical examination, Vernon was treated and his leg was put in a cast.”

They continued to state, “We believed it would be difficult for Vernon to participate in the concert, which lasts for approximately three hours. However, he has expressed a strong desire to stand on stage for the fans who have waited for the concert. Therefore, Vernon will participate in the June 30 and July 1 concerts in Seoul as planned.” Pledis added, “Though Vernon’s health is in a good condition aside from his leg injury, we will be listening to his doctor’s advice and he will be seated for all performances that require choreography and he will not participate in some of the planned stages.”

The agency concluded by stating, “We ask for our understanding, and we will do our best to ensure that Vernon is able to complete the concerts safely in his best condition without worsening his injury. Once more, we sincerely apologize for worrying the many fans who have waited for SEVENTEEN’s concert.”
