Simon Dominic Reunites With Uncle He Has Been Searching For After Writing Song About Him
Simon Dominic has reunited with his uncle after several years.
The artist released a new album on June 15 titled “DARKROOM : roommates only,” which contains the title track “Jung Jin Chul.”
The song repeats the lyrics, “My uncle’s name is Jung Jin Chul. His job is a fashion designer,” several times. He also says in the lyrics, “The news of my grandma fainting was so devastating. It wouldn’t even be enough for the entire family to worry, but Uncle won’t answer his phone. He ran away somewhere.”
In a recent episode of “I Live Alone,” Simon Dominic revealed, “Jung Jin Chul is the real name of my uncle. My uncle who was so nice to me when I was young is missing.” He continued, “If my uncle is listening, I am waiting for the day that we can meet again.”
On July 1, he shared that he has finally found his uncle.
His caption reads, “I met my uncle thanks to the attention and help from many people. The days I wasn’t able to spend with him, I plan on spending them happily with him from now on. I sincerely thank everyone who showed concern and attention.”
