"Wok Of Love" Achieves Its Highest Ratings Once Again

SBS’s “Wok of Love” has hit its highest ratings once more.

Amidst show cancellations because of the 2018 World Cup, “Wok of Love” was the only drama in its time slot that aired on July 2.

According to Nielsen Korea, episodes 27 and 28 of “Wok of Love” achieved ratings of 7.4 percent and 9.3 percent, respectively. The rating of episode 28 came to a tie with the rating of episode 26, which was also 9.3 percent.

During the episodes, Seo Poong (Junho) found out Jeon Jung Hye (Lee Mi Sook) is actually the mother of Dan Sae Woo (Jung Ryeo Won). Dan Sae Woo was dating Seo Poong behind her mother’s back, and even though Seo Poong was against it, he went with what Dan Sae Woo wanted.

However, the food orders became mixed up because of Jeon Jung Hye’s mistake, and Seo Poong harshly criticized her for it. He found out she is Dan Sae Woo’s mother afterwards, and he went into shock.“Wok of Love” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. KST.
