"Along With The Gods: The Last 49 Days" Releases Gripping New Posters

“Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days,” the sequel to “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds,” released its dark and captivating main posters that make you anticipate the new plot.

The upcoming sequel will continue the story of the three grim reapers from the first film (played by Ha Jung Woo, Joo Ji Hoon, and Kim Hyang Gi) as they guide their 49th soul Soo Hong (Kim Dong Wook) through the trials of the underworld with the promise of reincarnation.

During their journey, they meet the mysterious Sung Joo Shin (Ma Dong Seok), who knows these grim reapers’  forgotten pasts from a thousand years ago. As the four of them teeter on the edge of the past, life, and the afterlife, the connections between their buried secrets come to light.

The first main poster contains the five main characters of the movie looking grim yet determined. The ominous words on the poster vows, “A secret of a thousand years will be revealed.”

The second main poster portrays the same five characters as well as King Yeomra of the underworld (Lee Jung Jae). The past and present appearances of Ha Jung Woo, Joo Ji Hoon, Kim Hyang Gi, and Ma Dong Seok are revealed on the poster, making viewers wonder what they were like in their past lives as mortals.

“Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” will be released on August 1 in Korea.
