Apink Members Talk About Drinking Alone, Reveal Strongest Drinker Of The Group

On the July 5 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show,” the members of Apink, who appeared as guests, revealed that they no longer live together and have moved back home.

Jung Eun Ji, the only member who currently lives alone, said, “I often have a drink by myself with some grilled intestine at home since it’s so well-packaged these days. I’ll have something like chicken feet or fried chicken.” When asked how much she’ll drink, she said, “About one bottle [of soju].”

Naeun said she doesn’t really drink, and only drank by herself once. Surprising all of the members, she said, “It was when we were all living together. I drank by myself in the living room. Everyone was sleeping, so they probably don’t know this. I was just having a hard time that day, and I wanted to be alone. It was the first and last time I ever drank by myself.”

Hayoung is the strongest drinker of the group, said Chorong. Hayoung said she just stays focused when she’s drinking with the Apink members. Bomi and Chorong chimed in, saying that Hayoung is always at outings to the end and that they’ve never seen her drunk.

Namjoo, on the other hand, revealed that she can’t drink at all, and that she’ll start to fall asleep as soon as she has even a little bit of alcohol. “I’ll start to feel it after even one sip of beer.”
