YG Entertainment Responds To Reported Details On Choi Ji Woo's Husband

Choi Ji Woo’s agency has responded to reports on her husband, who she got married to in March.

On July 10, Dispatch reported that her husband was born in 1984 and is a businessman who runs a lifestyle mobile application. The reports also said that he changed his name after meeting her about three years ago.

In response, YG Entertainment revealed an official press release.

The statement reads, “As reported, actress Choi Ji Woo’s husband is nine years younger than her and is the CEO of a company for an application based on an O2O platform.”

The agency explains, “The reason why her husband’s identity wasn’t revealed is because the judgment was made that it could be a burden to each other if it causes preconceptions in business or other matters.”

“Choi Ji Woo and her husband are enjoying a happy life as newlyweds while being devoted to both their family and work. Please once again understand Choi Ji Woo’s considerate intentions for her husband and family, and we request that unfounded speculations will no longer be made,” YG Entertainment concludes.
