Kang Daniel Talks About His Favorite Items, When He's Happiest, And More

Wanna One’s Kang Daniel held a V Live broadcast on July 12 where he chatted with fans and answered some questions.

Kang Daniel said he started the broadcast right after arriving in Singapore for Wanna One’s world tour: “If I start after a concert or rehearsal, our fans don’t sleep, so I’m doing the V Live early.”

The star shared some current music on his playlist as well as photos of his cat with fans. When asked what some of his favorite items are, he revealed his love for accessories. “Honestly, I like myself, but to me, my face isn’t really my style. So when we first started wearing accessories, it was really fun. I would say accessories are my favorite.”

Kang Daniel is happiest off stage, he said. “If I think about it, I’m happy as soon as I come off stage. To be honest, I get really nervous when performing. But [on second thought], coming off stage, and then going on to perform? Really, I’m just happy all 24 hours of the day.”

The Wanna One member also talked about a time when he did something he shouldn’t have to his mother. He said, “When I was in elementary school, I got caught going to the PC room instead of an after school academy, and I actually was the one that got mad at my mom. Even thinking about it now, I feel really bad. But I recently bought my mom a house. I’m really good to her now.”

Revealing how thankful he is to his fans, Kang Daniel said, “When we go on stage, we can hear our fans cheering really well. The fan chants really give us a lot of energy.”
