Ku Hye Sun And Her Agency Respond To Pregnancy And Plastic Surgery Rumors Around Her Recent Appearance

Ku Hye Sun and her agency have opened up about her current health status after her recent appearance at an official event.

The actress attended the opening ceremony of the 22nd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) on July 12. The actress left an impact on everyone who attended the event as she was wearing an all-black outfit matched with a red lip color. Ku Hye Sun’s new look had people talking, and rumors began spreading on online communities that she was pregnant or was recovering from plastic surgery as people noted that her face appeared to look rounder.

The actress personally quashed all rumors as she posted selfies on her Instagram account with the caption, “I’ve gained weight as a result of eating well. 10 kilograms.”

Her agency Partners Park also released a statement on July 13 and said, “She is neither pregnant nor did she undergo plastic surgery. Just as she said, Ku Hye Sun simply has been eating well and taking care of her health, and she’s just gained some weight. As a result, she may have looked a little different in some photos.”

They continued to write, “Ku Hye Sun is currently looking over potential projects in order to make her return as an actress. She is looking for a project to take on in the second half of 2018.”

Ku Hye Sun has been taking a break from acting since being diagnosed with a severe, allergic digestive dysfunction in March 2017 in order to focus on her health.
