GFRIEND Talks About Summer Comeback And Things They Want Fans To Notice

Ahead of their summer comeback with their mini album “Sunny Summer,” girl group GFRIEND held a V Live broadcast.

On their new album, Umji said, “There are a lot of hidden things in our album,” and the members named things that they’d like their fans to notice. Sowon said, “In the past, rather than choreography, we had dances that were easy to follow along to, so we’d like it if everyone paid close attention to the dance.”

She continued, “Our music video isn’t out yet, but there’s a scene where Eunha parodies something. She kind of had a costume on, and the response was so good that the staff members wanted to take photos with her.”

Yuju also hinted that the music video has an open interpretation. “I’m looking forward to how people interpret the music video. Fans are such pros at that. There’s no right answer, so we’re looking forward to Buddies’ analyses. We also want to see if fans can identify which hands and feet belong to which members.”
