Chungha Cheers On "Produce 48" Contestants And Gives Advice
On July 18, Chungha held a showcase for her new mini album “Blooming Blue.” As one of the top 11 contestants of “Produce 101,” she was asked to give some advice to the contestants on Mnet’s current survival show “Produce 48.”
Chungha said, “I think right now they really aren’t able to sleep. For me, ‘Produce 101′ was the biggest turning point of my life. They’re going through that right now.”
“They’re being shown a lot in the media for the first time, being sad and happy while looking at peoples’ posts, experiencing confusion, and making a lot of good memories,” she said. “But I hope that they won’t become too trapped in that.”
She went on to say that despite being limited by the format, the best thing to do is try to become your own self and not lose yourself. “I hope that you won’t lose what you decided on, and won’t be hurt,” she said. She also cheered on her label mate Lee Ha Eun as well as contestant Park Hae Yoon.
“When I went there myself, everyone was so cheerful and energetic,” she said. “Thank you so much again for the good energy that I received when I went to the set. Good luck!”
Chungha made her return on July 18 with her new mini album and the title track “Love U.”
