ONE And Kim Bo Ra Confirmed As Leads Of Romance Film

Rapper-turned-actor ONE will be making his big screen debut in a romance movie with actress Kim Bo Ra as his co-star!

ONE and Kim Bo Ra will be starring in a movie titled “Goodbye Summer” (literal translation).  It is a unique love story between Soo Min (Kim Bo Ra) and Hyun Jae (ONE). Soo Min becomes troubled by the love confession of 19-year-old Hyun Jae who is a terminally ill patient.

Kim Bo Ra’s character Soo Min is a senior in high school who is devoted to her studies rather than dating. However, after receiving a confession from Hyun Jae, she will start to open up her eyes to emotion of love.

Kim Bo Ra commented, “This is a movie that I really wanted to participate in because I was very emotional when I first read the script. It’s a genre I’ve never experienced before, so I’m more excited about it. Please anticipate and support ‘Goodbye Summer’, a movie that portrays love and friendship that is young and sad on a summer day.”

The actress previously participated in productions like the movie “Night Song” and drama “Avengers Social Club.”

On the other hand, ONE will transform into a high school student who, despite the fact that he doesn’t have much time to live, studies for the college entrance exam and bravely confesses to his first love just like the other students his age.

Concerning his new role, ONE said, “It’s my first movie, so I’m excited, but on the other hand, I feel a big responsibility. I will take the director’s advice and do my best.” Previously, ONE appeared in tvN’s “Hwayugi” and short drama “Anthology.”

“Goodbye Summer” begins filming on July 19, and it will be released during the second half of this year.
