MAMAMOO Shares Behind-The-Scenes Stories From Filming Latest MV

MAMAMOO talked about preparing and filming the MV for their latest track “Egotistic.”

On July 19, MAMAMOO appeared as guests on SBS PowerFM’s “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show.”

Solar said, “For the pole dance scene in the ‘Egotistic’ MV, I learned it for one hour then filmed it.”

DJ Kim Tae Kyun commented, “Is that something you can learn in an hour? You must have really good arm strength.”

Solar answered, “We didn’t have a lot of time. There was a scene where we were hanging, and it was easy because I have a lot of arm muscles.” Moonbyul said, “She has a lot of muscles in her arms,” and Solar added, “I can hold up Moonbyul.”

DJ Kim Tae Kyun asked, “Does it come out like Popeye? Show us!” Solar replied, “I didn’t know I’d be revealing something like this here,” and showed off her arm muscles.

Seeing the fire scene in the girl group’s MV, Cha Tae Hyun said, “It’s hard to make a fire pit with computer graphics, so they use a lot of equipment to film.” Hwasa explained, “After filming this scene, black things came out when I blew my nose and spit.”

When Cha Tae Hyun explained, “Since they have to save money, I think they used real fire,” Moonbyul said, “I thought they used real fire for it to be more realistic.”
