BIGBANG's Seungri Sincerely Expresses Thoughts On His Long-Awaited Solo Comeback

BIGBANG’s Seungri left some heartfelt words for his fans about his upcoming comeback as a solo artist.

Hours before his first solo studio album “The Great Seungri,” the idol took to his Instagram and wrote, “I am someone who likes BIGBANG’s group promotions more, but these promotions as a solo artist for the first time in five years are very meaningful to me.”

He shared, “If I was determined to not let fans feel BIGBANG’s hiatus as much as possible as the youngest member who was left on his own because of the members enlisting, then I believe it was the hyungs‘ support that became a huge driving force behind the completion of my solo album.”

“The best team has been by my side and helped me so that my first solo album in five years could improve and make up for my shortcomings,” Seungri expressed. “I want to sincerely thank Yang Hyun Suk, Teddy, Future Bounce, and all the people who have helped me with this album.”

Addressing fans directly, the BIGBANG member pledged, “I promise to appear in front of everyone more experienced and matured. I think I would be very happy if many people could support and love my solo activities with ‘The Great Seungri.'”

Seungri will be dropping “The Great Seungri” and the music video for his title track “1, 2, 3!” at 6 p.m. on July 20.
