Kim Jong Kook Talks With Niece About Marriage And Offers To Sing At Her Wedding

Kim Jong Kook was a proud uncle on SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling.”

On the July 22 episode, Kim Jong Kook saw his niece and model Woo Seung Hee in her wedding dress for the first time.

He said, “The back is too revealing,” but also added, “You look pretty.” He commented, “Wedding dresses these days are really pretty. I’m really envious.”

Kim Jong Kook then went to a restaurant to eat a meal with his niece and her fiancé. Back at the studio, the mothers said, “If the niece has a baby, he’ll immediately become a grandpa. It looks like he’s going to be called grandpa before dad.”

The singer asked his niece’s fiancé what made him decide to get married. He answered, “I felt it as soon as we dated. I don’t know the reason. It’s hard to explain it.”

Kim Jong Kook said, “In the past, dating came first. But now, I think I’m dating while thinking about marriage.” He then told his niece that he would sing the celebratory nuptial song at their wedding in order to congratulate the couple.

She replied, “The older relatives may not think favorably since because you have a higher degree of kinship. My uncle who hasn’t gotten married yet…”
