Watch: Boy Group NewKidd, Including Ji Hansol, Shares Bright And Fun "Shooting Star" MV Ahead Of Debut

NewKidd has shared a new MV before their debut!

On July 25, NewKidd revealed a music video for “Shooting Star,” which is the title track off their second preview album “Boy Boy Boy.” The song is a cheerful electronic dance track about confessing love to a crush, and the MV is a feast for the eyes with lots of bright colors and fun scenes.

“Shooting Star” was produced by popular songwriter Shin Hyuk, who’s produced songs for artists including EXO, Super Junior, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, VIXX, MONSTA X, AOA, SF9, UP10TION, and many more. Styalz Fuego, who took part in creating EXO’s “Ko Ko Bop,” also contributed to the song’s composition.

NewKidd’s pre-debut project includes the addition of members with each release. This time around they’ve released their new music as the unit NewKidd02 with new members Hwi and Choi Jiann. Members Ji Hansol (also of UNB), Yunmin, Jinkwon, and Woochul previously released the song “Will You Be Ma” in November.
