Jang Geun Suk Receives Official Military Assignment

Jang Geun Suk, who quietly enlisted in the military this month, has finished his basic military training.

His agency stated, “Jang Geun Suk got assigned to the Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters.” The Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters confirmed that he has been serving there since last week but said they couldn’t give out any more details.

His agency shared, “There were no requests from the actor to delay entering the military during the process, and the Military Manpower Administration’s request for re-verification was faithfully fulfilled. As a result, he received the final draft notice as a level 4 soldier.”

Jang Geun Suk will be discharged from the military in June 2020.
