"What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" Finale Charms Viewers Until The Very End

tvN’s hit drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” has come to a successful end!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the romantic comedy stole viewers’ hearts and dominated its time slot with each new episode—an impressive feat, considering the fact that the drama aired on a cable network. Stars Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young won viewers over with their relentless charm and their remarkable chemistry, which was so believable that it even sparked dating rumors between the two actors.

Not only did the July 26 finale maintain the drama’s first place position in its time slot, but it also saw a rise in viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” scored average ratings of 8.6 percent, compared to 7.1 percent for the penultimate episode the night before.

SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Your Honor,” which aired a half hour later than “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” took second place for the night with average ratings of 7.0 percent and 7.7 percent for its two parts. MBC’s “Time” came in third with ratings of 3.3 percent and 4.2 percent, while KBS 2TV’s “Your House Helper” followed close behind with ratings of 3.1 percent and 4.0 percent for the evening.
