“Produce 48” has revealed the second half of its position battle performances, as well as the contestants who have earned a boost through more points!

The July 27 episode of the Mnet survival show continued the position battle that began last week, when contestants chose spots in teams for either dance or vocal and rap evaluations. The contestants were tasked with showing their skills through cover performances, with vocalists arranging their own parts, rappers writing their lyrics, and dancers creating their choreography.

In each team, the person who received the most votes was given an added 5,000 points to their score, with the two people who took first place overall for the two positions given 100,000 additional points.

Last week, five teams performed covers of songs by Wanna One, Heize, Ariana Grande, BoA, and Demi Lovato.

The remaining six teams performed this week. The dance teams performed covers of Fitz & the Tantrums’ “HandClap,” Little Mix’s “Touch,” and Jax Jones’s “Instruction,” while the vocal and rap teams performed Girls’ Generation’s “Into the New World,” BTS’s “The Truth Untold,” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”

For the vocal and rap position, Han Cho Won took first place after showing her vocal talents in her group’s performance of Heize’s “Don’t Know You.”

For the dance position, Murase Sae came in first with the most votes after performing with the team for Fitz & the Tantrums’ “HandClap.”
