Wanna One's Lee Dae Hwi Confirmed To Have Made One Of "Produce 48" Concept Evaluation Songs

Wanna One’s Lee Dae Hwi will be returning to the “Produce” series as a producer himself!

On July 28, rumors resurfaced that the idol produced one of the six concept evaluation tracks that will be used in the next battle on “Produce 48.” These rumors were denied when they first arose back in May, but a video of Lee Dae Hwi that was shown in a preview for the August 3 broadcast led to rekindled suspicions that he had indeed produced a song for “Produce 48.”

A source from Mnet stated to news outlet Sports Chosun, “After checking with the producers [of the show], we have confirmed that Lee Dae Hwi’s participation. Lee Dae Hwi’s track is one of the tracks included for the upcoming concept evaluation battle.”

He will also reportedly make an appearance to direct the contestants himself and give them advice.

A preview of the concept songs was previously revealed as viewers were tasked to vote on which contestants they think best fit each track. The concept songs are moombaton trap track “Rumor,” pop dance track “See You Again,” new jack swing track “To Reach You,” hip hop and R&B pop track “I AM,” tropical pop dance track “Rollin’ Rollin,'” and contemporary girls pop track “1000%”

It has not been confirmed which track Lee Dae Hwi produced.
