TWICE Tops Chart With

TWICE becomes the first artist to score three No. 1 songs on our chart this year with their latest hit “Dance the Night Away”! Moving up 12 spots to the top, this song swept all the music show wins last week and also topped most internet charts. Congratulations to TWICE!

“Dance the Night Away” is the title song of TWICE’s Special Album “Summer Nights.” It is joyful dance song made for the summer season that captures the youthfulness of TWICE. Veteran singer Wheesung penned the lyrics of this song.

Last week’s champion Apink’s “I’m So Sick” is down one spot to No. 2, while staying put at No. 3 is MOMOLAND’s “BAAM.”

We have one more new song in the top 10 this week! Moving up four spots to No. 8 is Melomance’s “Tale.” Ever since their breakout hit song “Gift” from last year, Melomance has been a regular on our chart’s top 10. The latest hit “Tale” is the lead track of their mini-album “The Fairy Tale,” and is a love song that combines a Motown and pop guitar sound with a beautiful string line. The lyrics are about appreciation and hope for a precious relationship that goes beyond the feelings of love.
