Actress Lim Ji Yeon Confirmed To Have Broken Up With Boyfriend

Actress Lim Ji Yeon is no longer in a relationship.

On July 29, a source from her agency Huayi Brothers stated, “Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Wook recently broke up. It’s difficult to comment on the specifics because it’s her private life.”

Lim Ji Yeon’s relationship with Lee Wook, the chairman of the nonprofit organization W-Foundation, was publicly confirmed in January. At the time, her agency had stated, “The two of them began dating recently.”

Lee Wook, who was on the same soccer team as actor Baek Sung Hyun and had close relationships with the celebrities who served as public ambassadors for the W-Foundation, first met Lim Ji Yeon last year. After becoming acquainted with one another and meeting on several occasions, the couple eventually began dating. They reportedly went on dates in public like an ordinary couple, without worrying about being seen by others.

After approximately six months of dating publicly, Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Wook parted ways and are continuing to focus on their individual careers.

Lim Ji Yeon made her acting debut in the 2014 film “Obsessed.” She has since appeared in a number of films, including “The Treacherous” and “Luck-Key,” as well as dramas such as “High Society” and “Jackpot.”

The actress will soon begin filming for the movie “Tazza 3” and will also be appearing in the pre-produced drama “Mojito” (literal title).
