Ji Hyun Woo Transforms Into Out-Of-Control Neurosurgeon On “Risky Romance”
MBC’s new drama “Risky Romance” has revealed a sneak peek of Ji Hyun Woo’s character in an uncontrollable rage!
“Risky Romance” is a romantic comedy about an endocrinologist named Joo In Ah (played by Lee Si Young) who decides to study the volatile neurosurgeon Han Seung Joo (played by Ji Hyun Woo) for her research. Although Han Seung Joo is an incredibly skilled surgeon, he suffered an accident in the past that triggered his body to produce too much testosterone. As a result, he is notorious for being overly competitive and has an explosive temper.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Han Seung Joo looks furious as he faces off against Jang Ji Yeon, the hospital’s chief neurosurgeon (played by Sun Woo Sun). Another photo shows Han Seung Joo struggling to escape the grasp of Yoo Sang Bum, the chief of the endocrinology department (played by Choi Ryung), who appears to be holding the neurosurgeon back from a fight.
The photos also show Joo In Ah and her colleagues Cha Jae Hwan (played by Kim Jin Yeop) and Lee Jin Kyung (played by Bae Seul Gi) looking aghast as they watch the tempestuous scene unfolding before them.
The producers of “Risky Romance” commented, “Han Seung Joo, who defiantly stands at the center of the incident at the hospital, will entertain the viewers in a big way with his wild and unpredictably crazy personality.”
“The insolent, rage-inducing Seung Joo turns the hospital into a zoo by provoking the wrath of not only ‘girl crush’ Ji Yeon, who loves her junior colleagues dearly, but also Sang Bum, who is known to be as gentle as a lamb,” they continued. “We hope that you tune in to see it for yourself.”
The next episode of “Risky Romance” will air on July 30 at 10 p.m. KST.
