"Along With The Gods 2" Continues To Set New Records As It Reaches 3 Million Moviegoers Milestone

“Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” continues to break records as it reaches the milestone of 3 million moviegoers!

According to Lotte Entertainment, the investors and distributors of the film, “‘Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days’ has attracted a total of 3 million moviegoers as of 2:30 p.m. KST on August 3.”

The film was breaking records right out of the gate, becoming the film with the most ticket reservations with over 700,000 tickets bought before its premiere. On opening day, it set a new record for the biggest opening day in Korea with approximately 1.24 million people watching the film. After reaching the one million moviegoers milestone in just twelve hours, the 2 million mark was reached on the second day,.

The film is set to continue its hot streak as it reached the three million moviegoers milestone on August 3, just three days after the film’s release. “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” reached this figure two days quicker than the first film “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds,” and one day ahead of “The Admiral: Roaring Currents,” the Korean film with the most successful box office record to date. The film is expected to set new records up till the six million moviegoers mark in its first week.
