BTOB's Eunkwang Announces Military Enlistment

BTOB’S Eunkwang will be enlisting in the military this month.

On August 6, a source from Cube Entertainment stated, “Eunkwang will be enlisting on August 21 as an active duty soldier. As Eunkwang himself wishes to enlist quietly, we have decided not to announce his enlistment location and time.”

Through his agency, Eunkwang revealed, “I’m very sorry to the fans who felt surprised by the news of my enlistment. I’ve made many promises to my fans, so I feel apologetic and regretful towards the ones I couldn’t keep. After fulfilling my duty to the country, I will return in good health and keep the broken promises.”

Eunkwang, who was born in 1990, is the first member of BTOB to be enlisting in the military.

He is currently participating in the musical “Barnum: The Greatest Showman.” A source from the musical stated on August 6, “We are currently in the process of figuring out Seo Eunkwang’s appearance schedule. He will participate [in the musical] until he enlists and will appear in the press call as planned.”
