Kim Jung Hyun Gets Struck Down By A Hit-And-Run In "Time"

On August 8, MBC’s “Time” released stills of Kim Jung Hyun looking bloodied up on a road.

The descriptions accompanying the stills say that Kim Jung Hyun’s character Soo Ho was hit by a car that he didn’t see coming. Bleeding and in shock, he tries to reach for his phone to either call for help or continue calling the person with whom he was on the phone when he was hit.

The scene in question was filmed on June 23 on a road in the Mapo neighborhood in Seoul. As the scene was meant to take place on a street at night with many cars, the production staff worked hard to maintain safety by using mats and guards and traffic control measures to stop non-filming related cars from putting the cast in danger.

Kim Jung Hyun also showed dedication to his craft as part of the scene involved wires and a crane. The actor was hooked up to wires for seven consecutive hours and had to film multiple takes of himself falling and reaching for the phone.
