Watch: GFRIEND, LABOUM, And VIXX's Leo Take On Fun Challenges On

GFRIEND, VIXX’s Leo, and LABOUM brought their A games to MBC Every1’s “Weekly Idol.”

On August 8, the variety show aired an episode featuring idols who are popular performers at events. GFRIEND, LABOUM, and VIXX’s Leo each competed to win an “event appearance fee” as their prize.

GFRIEND was the first group up and made everyone laugh by introducing themselves as if they were at an event. When they were asked to share stories from performing at events, it was joked that some details seem to have been exaggerated.

GFRIEND then wowed the MCs by performing “Sunny Summer” at double speed with ease. For their mission, the girl group played the “toe shopping” game which SinB was really good at during their last appearance on the show. SinB wasn’t as successful as last time, but Umji and Sowon displayed the strength of their toes by picking up fruit and a potato.

The second group to appear on the show was LABOUM, who came back with a sexy concept for their track “Between Us.”

LABOUM are popular performers at military bases and began with introductions full of cuteness. When they called out, “Men of the armed forces,” MCs Yoo Se Yoon and Lee Sang Min pretended to be soldiers and cheered.

LABOUM then took on the rollercoaster dance challenge for “Between Us.” During the slowed down parts of the song, the girl group displayed some sexy moves and earned praise from MC Kim Shin Young.

The third and final artist on this episode was VIXX’s Leo. This was his first time appearing on the show by himself and he appeared nervous from the beginning of the show.

After about 10 minutes of filming, Leo made the others laugh by saying, “I have nothing to lean on.” In order to make him more comfortable, the MCs provided a chair for him and even gave him a massage.

During VIXX’s last appearance, Leo made some mistakes during the rollercoaster dance challenge. He took on the challenge once again for his solo track “Touch & Sketch,” and succeeded with flying colors.

Leo also previously set a high score on the punching machine. He attempted to break his previous record, but his score wasn’t very high at first. The MCs mentioned that Ravi may have been a factor in his high scores because he was able to rile him up. After thinking back to this time and gathering some anger, Leo was able to demonstrate his strong punching skills once again.

“Weekly Idol” airs on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. KST.
