Red Velvet Reveals Which Actors They Want To Befriend

On the August 8 broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s “Moon Hee Jun’s Music Show,” Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Wendy, and Yeri made guest appearances.

The group recently made a successful comeback with their new mini album “Summer Magic,” which features “Power Up” as its title track. The song recently earned Red Velvet their very first perfect all-kill, while the album itself saw international success.

After thanking their fans, the members talked more about their new concept. Seulgi shared how she thought Wendy matched this album’s concept the best, while Wendy expressed that it was impossible to choose just a single person.

During the broadcast, Red Velvet also revealed how they wanted to get closer to other celebrities.

Seulgi named Ha Jung Woo, and explained, “I’ve been watching short clips of him recently. He’s really fun and very charismatic.” Yeri shared, “I also watched ‘Along with the Gods 2’ yesterday. Ha Jung Woo is cool, but Kim Hyang Gi left a big impression on me. I want to become friends with her.”

The youngest Red Velvet member updated fans on her goal of getting her driving license as well. Yeri commented, “I haven’t been able to make the time. I will get it before this year ends. I already have all the books, as the fans gifted them to me.”

The group also discussed their recent solo concert and when they felt the most touched. “You know how we change clothes [during the concert]? Fans sang our songs during those moments,” Yeri explained. “I was touched because I could hear them so well even while changing my outfit.”

Wendy added, “In my opinion, I was able to experience what happiness is because I am [a part of] Red Velvet. I was happy to be able to be with my members, the staff, and fans.” Seulgi chimed in, “We didn’t know anything during our first concert, which was disappointing, but we were able to have more fun this time. I felt that we really grew a lot.”
