Han Seo Hee Declares Herself As Part Of Radical Feminist Group And Feuds With Politician

Han Seo Hee has recently announced herself as a supporter of the Korean radical feminist group WOMAD.

WOMAD is an online community for women that focuses on gender equality. The group has come under fire for a variety of issues in the past, but recently, law enforcement became involved following issues of obscene photos of men being posted on the website.

On August 8, it was reported that police issued an arrest warrant for one of the administrators of the website.

In response to this news, Han Seo Hee wrote on her personal Instagram account, “I am WOMAD. If you’re going to come for WOMAD, take me instead. For WOMAD, I’ll honorably go to jail one more time.”

Shin Dong Wook, founder and leader of the minor Republican Party, criticized her by posting on his Twitter, “If Han Seo Hee is a WOMAD member, then I’m an Ilbe protector.” Ilbe is an online community with far-right political views and hate-filled content.

He continued, “I support the imprisonment of the WOMAD administrator,” and uploaded a photo of himself posing with his hands in a gun shape.

Han Seo Hee responded to Shin Dong Wook by posting a screen capture of his tweet on her Instagram story, along with the words, “Who are you, sir?” She added another commented when she wrote, “Sir, are you dancing to ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’,” in reference to his photo.

As she rose in the real-time search rankings, she wrote, “Being No.1 on the real-time search rankings is easier than eating. To be honest, I should just be called a celebrity. I have more impact than most celebrities.”
