Kenta And Kim Sang Gyun Talk About JBJ Members' Support For Their Upcoming Drama

Kenta and Kim Sang Gyun recently talked about the messages of support they received from JBJ members for their acting endeavors.

On August 10, a press conference was held for SBS’s upcoming drama, “Oh, Hear the Wind Sing.” Kenta, Kim Sang Gyun, Han Ji Sun, Kim Hong Kyung, Lee Kyung Woo, and director Kim Yong Kwon were in attendance.

Kenta and Kim Sang Gyun took their first steps towards entering the world of acting through “Oh, Hear the Wind Sing” following the disbandment of JBJ.

During the press conference, Kim Sang Gyun was asked about the JBJ members. He stated, “Although JBJ has disbanded, we still contact each other regularly. Recently, Dong Han made his solo debut, and I even appeared as a special guest at his fanmeeting in Thailand. He’s doing well.”

When asked if he received the support of his fellow JBJ members, Kenta replied, “When I met Dong Han and Tae Hyun, they told me, ‘I’m looking forward to it.’ But it seems like they were purposely trying to make me nervous by talking it up so much. That’s why I feel more burdened. But I think they’re that much more excited and interested in [the drama], so I’m thankful.”

“Oh, Hear the Wind Sing” is a fantasy musical romance about Jun Kyung (played by Kim Sang Gyun), a 20-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter, and Haru (played by Kenta), a Japanese exchange student. They are joined by Yang Yeon Ji (played by Han Ji Sun), a 20-year-old girl of the past who couldn’t fulfill her dreams of making music so she lingers at a recording studio as a ghost.

“Oh, Hear the Wind Sing” will be prereleased via the app POOQ on August 10 at 1 p.m. KST. It will then air on television via SBS on August 12 at 12:15 a.m. KST and August 13 at 12:05 a.m. KST.
