Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” is continuing to smash records at the box office.

According to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), the second installment of the “Along with the Gods” film series recorded a total of 8,060,253 moviegoers nine days after its premiere.

“Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” has remained its position as the No. 1 film at the box office since its premiere on August 1 and has continued to bring moviegoers to the theater even on weekdays.

The film achieved the feat of surpassing 8 million moviegoers in nine days, which is a day quicker than the 10-day record in Korea set by “The Admiral: Roaring Currents.” It’s likely that “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” will surpass 10 million moviegoers after this weekend.

“The Spy Gone North,” the No. 2 film at the box office, is also on the rise and has recorded 641,592 moviegoers within two days of its premiere.

Other films currently in theaters include “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” with 12,240 moviegoers, “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation” with 77,966 moviegoers, and “Mission: Impossible—Fallout” with 56,630 moviegoers.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days”!
