“Voice 2” Breaks OCN Record For Original Drama Premiere Ratings

OCN’s new drama “Voice 2” has gotten off to a great start!

“Voice 2” recorded the highest ratings ever among OCN original dramas’ premiere episodes. After succeeding to surpass 5 percent with the first season of the series, “Voice 2” returned with even greater results.

According to OCN and Nielsen Korea, the first broadcast of “Voice 2” on July 11 recorded on average viewership ratings of 3.9 percent, with a peak of 4.5 percent. The viewer ratings for the first episode of “Voice 1” was 2.3 percent.

The first episode of “Voice 2” was praised for its exciting plot that revolved around a murderer, filled with anger and hatred, who was targeting the team. Actress Lee Ha Na reprised her starring role as Kang Kwon Joo from the first season of the drama, while Lee Jin Wook joined the team as the character Do Kang Woo.

The second episode will air on August 12 at 10:20 p.m. KST.
