Jo Bo Ah Says She Hopes To Win Best Couple Award With Chae Si Ra For “Goodbye To Goodbye”
The two actresses received high praise for their chemistry in MBC’s weekend drama “Goodbye to Goodbye.” Jo Bo Ah played Jung Hyo, a college student who finds out she is pregnant, while Chae Si Ra played Seo Young Hee, her mother-in-law.
While speaking about her chemistry with the older actress, Jo Bo Ah said, “At first, I was really nervous. I was so tense, and she approached me first. She was so warm and sweet to me, and she was a great influence on me. Thanks to her, I was able to relax and concentrate properly on my role.”
Chae Si Ra had stated in her own interviews that she hopes that Jo Bo Ah will win an award at year-end drama awards this year. Jo Bo Ah responded by stating, “I hope she wins a Daesang (Grand Prize), I really do.”
She also shared that she is eyeing a Best Couple Award with Chae Si Ra as well. Jo Bo Ah smiled brightly as she explained, “I probably had hearts in my eyes while working with her and I looked at her as if I was looking at a man I love. People called our chemistry a ‘womance’ and it really felt like I’d acted in a melodrama with her. I hope our chemistry is recognized through a Best Couple Award.”
