Jung Hyung Don Talks About Defconn's Betrayal And "We Got Married" With Taeyeon

On the August 13 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show,” comedian Jung Hyung Don made a guest appearance as the special DJ.

During the broadcast, he talked about working with “Idol Room” co-host Defconn, and even ventured into the past by bringing up his virtual marriage to Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon on MBC’s “We Got Married.”

In response to DJ Kim Tae Gyun, who made a request for him to sing a Hyungdon & Daejune song live, Jung Hyung Don stated, “A live performance without Defconn is impossible. I can’t sing the songs myself because Defconn has too many parts.”

He continued his hilarious rant by saying, “But according to Defconn, he goes to events regardless of if I’m there or not. He even practices my rap parts.”

Later, DJ Kim Tae Gyun brought up his previous “marriage” to Taeyeon. He remarked, “Didn’t you date secretly before you entered into the marriage?” In response, Jung Hyung Don bluntly denied this.

He explained, “It wasn’t a secret relationship. We met freely without trouble. The thing that became troublesome was the fact that I had married Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon through the broadcast.”

Previously, Jung Hyung Don and Taeyeon were a couple on MBC’s “We Got Married” in 2009. Jung Hyung Don left the show when it was revealed that he had been dating his girlfriend, now wife, at the time.

When Jung Hyung Don announced his real marriage, Taeyeon jokingly said, “I was fooled. How can you do this to me.”
