Watch: Cha Eun Woo Teaches ASTRO’s Choreography To Im Soo Hyang In Making-Of Video For “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty”
It looks like the cast of JTBC’s “My ID is Gangnam Beauty” is having lots of fun while shooting their drama!
On August 13, a new video gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the actors filming scenes for the fifth and sixth episodes of the drama.
When a staff member got up, covered his face, and briskly walked away when the camera faced the table, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Im Soo Hyang said that they bet the nail on their pinky finger that the staff member will still appear in the making-of video.
Kwak Dong Yeon then chatted with co-star Dohee in between takes. Holding up the glass that he was drinking from, he explained, “This type of cup is a prop that is used in films like ‘Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time,’ ‘The Chaser,’ and ‘The Yellow Sea.’ Our drama is ‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty.’ It’s of the college campus genre.”
ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Lee Tae Sun also waved and smiled once they spotted the camera
The next scene showed the chemistry department’s pub at the school festival. When Cha Eun Woo approached the food stand, Park Yoo Na joked that the spicy rice cakes cost 300,000 won (approximately $266). He asked again in disbelief and joked that the chemistry department at this university was no good.
They then shot the scene where Baek Soo Min accidentally pushed Choi Sung Won onto the ground when she approached Cha Eun Woo. Choi Sung Won spoke confidently about his rolling-over skills and walked over to Cha Eun Woo who was enjoying a snack.
Commenting on Choi Sung Won’s scene, Cha Eun Woo joked, “It felt somewhat satisfying. He had bothered me.” Choi Sung Won laughed before apologizing to the camera and to Cha Eun Woo’s fans.
Towards the end of the video, Cha Eun Woo taught Im Soo Hyang choreography to an ASTRO song. She asked, “Why is this so hard?” and Cha Eun Woo said, “We need to bring you on as an ASTRO member.”
The video ended with Cha Eun Woo reacting adorably to accidentally touching a bug with his hand and walking away to shoot the next scene.
“My ID is Gangnam Beauty” airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 p.m. KST. Check out the making-of video below!
